I love the JOYS story {and how Cathy openly strives for simplifying life, paper & all}.

So when I came across the following pin, I knew it deserved to be showcased here:

My absolute favorite part of this infograph? The very first question …

Is this my decision?

For years I’ve advised clients to use this as their first question!

All too often, I see people who are overwhelmed by the big picture of what papers should I keep.

They completely forget to check to see who it belongs to.

Or worse, they have taken on the chore of dealing with the home filing system and it never occurs to them to delegate!
