As you can imagine, I’m asked what my favorite tool is when it comes to helping clients be organized.

While I have many, this week I thought I would give you a visual declutter tip, with the ultimate O …

Found in a variety of choices:

  1. Bulk
  2. Called “book rings” or “binder rings
  3. Different Colors
  4. Sizes :: 3/4″, 1″, 1.5″, 2″ and even 3″
  5. As Craft Supplies

Now that you know what you’re looking for, how can you use them?

Love this one :: organize all the holiday picture cards you receive by punching a few holes in them and adding book rings … use as coffee table books at the holidays

This shows a "365 things I am grateful for in …" cover, consider gathering things you'd like to keep but don't have time to scrapbook day-to-day, month-to-month or even trip-by-trip

Media collection that is unruly? Begin with the amount of pages you need then add bigger book rings each time you increase the page amount :: the media book that keeps on growing

Other uses I’ve found:

Chores:

  1. using index cards, write a chore on each card.
  2. punch a whole in the top corner of each card
  3. attach a book ring, allowing each chore to be “flipped” once it’s completed {or removed from the ring when necessary}

Bonus ::

we have a metal door between our garage & the house, I use a magnetic clip to attach the chore ring to the door – then when the kids need to grab their list they know exactly where it is, and where to put it back.

Meds on the Go:

In the sports bag I have a collection of those “spray” meds {Benadryl Ready Mist, Neo To Go} and they are corralled with a book ring. Easy to locate and not a worry when I toss them quickly back in the bag.

I’m curious …
