Welcome | 31 Days of Organizing
Starting fresh in 2011? Among the millions listing “Get Organized” on your Resolutions List?
Then come on it!
I’m so excited to kick off the 31 Days of Organizing series! I’ll be spending all month sharing specific tips on a variety of requested topics. For those who thrive on accountability, I’ll be assigning “homework” each day based on the tips discussed. Wrapping up each tip & assignment with a recommended product.
Each day of the week will hold tips based on the following topics:
Sunday ~ Personal Spaces
Starting out with your bathroom, venturing into purses and cars, unveiling the undergarments drawer and wrapping up with your nightstand ~ Sundays promise to bring quick and easy ways you can de-clutter personal spaces you live in everyday!
Monday ~ Confessions
Always wondered what my Clutter Confession would be? Tune in each Monday to find out! I’ll be sharing my own dilemmas, solutions and even confessing some things I still struggle with. Mondays are all about behind the scenes of an Organizing Expert.
Tuesday ~ Geek
Do you love your technology? Wish it could help you be more organized? Me too! I’ll be spending each week showing you solutions that have worked for a variety of my clients. Think to-do lists that you can finally find {and get accomplished!}, streamlining your gadgets, making it through your email once & for all and creating a digital photo library you’ll never lose! Tuesdays are all about honoring that geek lifestyle we all deal with.
Wednesday ~ General
Wednesdays will showcase all those general questions I get asked: “Laundry is such a chore, what should I do?“, “What do you do with paperwork?“, “How do I organize my closet?” and the biggest one couples ask me “Will our garage ever be organized?“. Each week those big topics will be broken down into bite size pieces, offering up ideas on how to tackle the project and helping you find the where to begin answers.
Thursday ~ Food
It’s no secret, I burn water. So clearly this day of the week will not include any gourmet recipes! Instead, I’ll be helping you understand how to set up your pantry, creating a make ahead meal plan, using the right kitchen tools and discovering convenience without clutter. Yup, Thursdays are the day we’ll be spending around the kitchen! So, grab your favorite beverage & munchie and come enjoy the fun!
Friday ~ Weekend Projects
This is where you’ll find those projects that can be done over a weekend ~ with a little planning and a whole lot of effort from helpers! We’ll cover the most common spaces I’ve worked in the last few years: Home Office, Hobbies, Kid’s Rooms, Linen Spaces ~ discussing why they clutter up and how the most overwhelming project can be accomplished over a weekend.
Saturday ~ Travel
Some of my best tried & true tips will be shared on Saturdays, things like kits for hygiene, the suit case, down time and then of course the inevitable returning home strategies anyone can do. Saturdays are for those asking “Where’s my passport? Wait, do I have a passport?” as well as the seasoned road warrior.
Now that you know the line up, there are few things you can do:
